Thai Yoga Massage

TYM has its roots in ayurveda and Buddhist spiritual practices. Dating back 2500 years folk legend attributes the founding of this healing art to an Indian doctor Jivaca kumar Bhacca, personal physician to the Buddha. These teachings traveled through Asia with Buddhism, arriving in Thailand where it has been practiced ever since.

Just Breathe Thai Yoga Massage

Hi, Welcome to Just Breathe Thai Yoga Massage. I am Katie Neumann, level one trained Thai Yoga Massage and hands free Thai Yoga Massage practitioner. Currently I am pursuing a national massage certification through the Zenergy Center for Thai Massage and Bodywork in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I have a background in fitness and earned my B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Throughout the last 10 years I have enjoyed working with a variety of clients. My clients have included special needs children, active seniors, persons suffering from chronic pain and fibromyalgia, and people from the general public with a need for professional assistance to reach their fitness goals.

Thai Yoga Massage appealed to me immediately. It excites me to think about the sen lines and energy channels that exist throughout the body and when clogged the disease that manifests. However, if you are not into Yoga or the idea of “chi”, I still recommend receiving a Thai Yoga Massage. Muscular imbalances or postural abnormalities as a result of years of not treating the body with enough loving care can begin to be corrected with continued treatments of this ancient therapeutic modality. It is an amazing alternative to traditional western massage, and an essential supplement to any fitness regimen.
